John J. Kim, M.D.
Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Kim is Fellowship-trained in the latest medical and surgical techniques in glaucoma with a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. In addition, he has extensive experience performing cataract surgery with both traditional or specialty lens implantation options.
Dr. Kim completed his fellowship in glaucoma at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. He is currently the medical director for the San Bernardino Eye Surgery Center, and has served on the glaucoma advisory board for Allergan and Alcon.
Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Glaucoma society. He is an active member of the medical staff at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton.
Dr. Kim’s many accomplishments include a patented invention, and his passion lies in providing care to underserved populations. He is a founding member of the Nueva Vida Clinica in Baja, Mexico where he regularly performs medical missions work.
