Dr. Matthew Zore was born and raised in the Midwest before moving to California. He graduated with highest honors from Indiana University with a major in biology. During that time, he was chosen to become a member of the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He went on to receive a degree from the Master of Arts in Medical Sciences program at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Zore then returned to Indiana where he completed medical school and a residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University. While in residency, Dr. Zore was selected by his peers to serve as chief resident.

Dr. Zore is trained to address a multitude of ophthalmic issues, from routine eye screenings to medical and surgical management of complex diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, macular degeneration and glaucoma. Dr. Zore enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, and developing strong relationships with his patients is one of his favorite aspects of being a physician.

In their free time, Dr. Zore and his wife Temeka, who is an infertility fellow at UCLA, enjoy traveling, cooking and outdoor activities.
